Peach Yogurt Cake – simple, fast, and inexpensive, prepared from easily available ingredients. On top, you only need to arrange the fruits, and after about 40-45 minutes, we have a finished, fragrant, soft, and moist cake, ideal for coffee or tea. Pfirschkuchen Rezept (ohne Mixer, schnell, einfach und lecker)
Ingredients
1 cup = 250 ml
—INGREDIENTS FOR THE CAKE (all ingredients should be at room temperature):
2 and 1/4 cups wheat flour
1/2 plus 2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1.5 teaspoons baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 cup oil
3 eggs
1 and 1/4 cups natural yoghurt
a few drops of vanilla essence or vanillin flavouring
—ADDITIONAL:
a tin (480g) of peaches
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C (top and bottom heat).Grease a 25cm x 25cm (or 20cm x 30cm) cake tin with a little butter and line with baking paper.
- Drain the peaches from the marinade and cut into larger cubes. Set aside. Mix the dry ingredients – flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt – in one bowl.
- In a second bowl, mix the wet ingredients, i.e.: oil, eggs, yoghurt and essence or flavouring. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix everything, preferably with a wooden spoon, just until the ingredients are combined. Do not mix for a long time so that you do not end up with a scone.

- Transfer the cake batter to the baking tin and top with evenly sliced peaches. Bake the cake for approx. 40 – 45 minutes until the cake comes out clean (make sure the stick inserted into the cake at the end of baking is not stuck to the raw dough). After baking, remove the cake from the oven and leave to cool completely.
