One of my hobbies is preparing English-style cakes (for the uninitiated – cakes covered with fondant icing from which you can create real wonders:)). Although I still haven’t managed to collect all the pictures of cakes I’ve made so far, today I would like to present one of my daughter Nadia’s themed birthday parties. These were her eighth birthdays, celebrated on April 1st. Like every year, I meticulously plan my children’s birthday parties, scouring cookbooks and the internet for inspiration to prepare the perfect birthday celebration. This time, I used some recipes from my Polish blog for sweets, only changing their colors to purple:)
The main theme was the TV series “Violetta.” For those who may not know, I’ll explain that she is the main character of a sweet Disney series in which talented young people experience highs and lows while constantly singing and dancing:D My daughter knows all the Violetta songs by heart, and her Spanish by ear impresses me every time I hear her sing :DDD We have a mandatory concert by the rising star Nadia K. every few days at our house 😀 And every time, I am proud to have such a beautiful and talented daughter:) Nadia wished that everything I prepared for the party would be in the style of Violetta, so lilac dominated, and various shades of purple. And of course, there couldn’t be a lack of a piano-shaped Violetta cake.
The reaction of my children to the sight of the cake and other treats is the most beautiful thank you for me every time… I love the moment when they squeal with joy, their eyes sparkle, and they admire every detail and every sweet… And so it was on Nadia’s birthday… She was ecstatic, jumping and squealing with happiness… It takes so little to make a child happy…
